Green Tea Preparation
Green tea preparation is a series of steps. When it is time to harvest the tea, the green tea leaves are hand plucked. We choose the brand new first and second leaves. These new leaves are soft and shiny and make the best tea. The plucked tea leaves are kept cool until the next step.
The leaves go through various steps, that of withering, rolling, drying, and then roasting to stop oxidation.
Finally, the tea leaves are stored in a cool, temperature-controlled environment with no sun exposure.
